Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Cardinal of Minnesota, Ltd. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live an independent and inclusive life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support and care to clients in their homes and communities
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Encourage and support clients to participate in recreational activities and community events
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality care and support

Requirements:
- A sense of humor and the ability to have fun
- Passion for your work and motivation to make a difference
- 18 years of age or older and ability to pass a MN Criminal Background Screen; valid Driver's License and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to walk, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, lift at least 50 pounds, push, and pull against potential resistance
- Adequate vision, reading, writing, and documentation skills, and comprehension of the English language, and adequate computer skills
- Commitment to the mission and core values of COM and ability to actively participate in a team approach atmosphere
