Job Summary

The Mental Health Specialist II/DSP will provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health needs, including intense behavioral health management, daily living skills training, and transportation supervision. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of physical and emotional stamina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health needs
  • Assist with daily living skills training, including personal care and hygiene
  • Transport individuals to appointments and activities
  • Supervise individuals in a group home setting
  • Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individualized support plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience working with mental illness
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Current auto liability insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
