Job Summary

Mall of America is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our Specialty Attractions team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding guest service by greeting and conversing with guests, determining their needs, and assisting with product, ticket, and general questions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, restock retail displays as needed, and oversee safety and cleanliness of locations assigned.
  • Utilize and maintain loss prevention procedures for both product and currency, and efficiently utilize the point of sale system to ring and count funds accurately and timely.
  • Explain and enforce ticket policies for Nickelodeon Universe and other attractions, and provide support in other work areas as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Outstanding guest service skills and previous retail experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests, both internal and external.
  • Basic math skills and understanding of USD currency.
Working Conditions

The Cashier will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, walking, and reaching. The ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs occasionally is required.
