Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our Retail Marketing team at Mall of America. As a Marketing Intern, you will assist in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives for our retail and attractions partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of marketing initiatives, including events, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
  • Serve as a liaison between retail partners and internal marketing teams, maintaining a professional and enthusiastic approach.
  • Coordinate the Mystery Ticket Program, including ordering, picking up, and mailing out mystery tickets.
  • Organize and distribute the monthly Marketing Update to all Mall retailers.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of content for the MOA Blog, including sales, promotions, and events.
  • Update retailer information and store photos on internal databases.
  • Maintain file management for the Retail Marketing and Attractions Marketing departments.
  • Research trends and competitive information for domestic and international fashion, retail, and entertainment brands.
  • Craft bi-monthly reports for internal distribution.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and phone calls on behalf of the Retail Marketing department.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or PR.
  • Strong verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and transportation required.
Preferred Skills
  • Graphic design or Photoshop skills.
Work Environment

This is a part-time position, requiring 40 hours per week, including some weekend events as needed.
