Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Operations Manager to join our team at AMC Theatres. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our theatres, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Experience: Engage our guests with an unmatched experience that is friendly and fun, facilities that are clean, and service that is quick.
- Theatre Systems and Controls: Provide direct oversight of the integrity and accuracy of theatre systems and controls.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to associates to achieve optimum theatre operations. Primary emphasis is on the ability to deliver results through planning and execution.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships and partner with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners.
- Operational Duties: Perform daily opening and closing operational duties.
- Theatre Departmental Functions: Oversee all theatre departmental functions.
- Performance Management: Reinforce guest and operational focus through MBWA (Managing By Walking Around). Oversee the performance management process. Ensure that regular, continual, two-way communication occurs regarding performance and development.
- Coaching and Development: Actively provide timely and accurate coaching to associates to assist with their growth and development as well as manage their performance.
- Scheduling and Budgeting: Write a weekly performance schedule that optimizes film revenue, concession revenue, and guest satisfaction. Prepare the weekly managers' schedule in a timely manner. Assist in setting and ensuring successful delivery of theatre budgets, goals, and objectives.
- Financial Management: Review financial numbers utilizing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports. Use reports as a management tool to optimize financial results and the guest experience.
- Compliance and Standards: Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts per the Management Work Schedule policy. Uphold AMC's business practice standards and ensure compliance with company programs.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 year guest service experience in a fast-paced environment. 1 year experience in operational execution.
- Age: 18 or older.
- Education: Manager, Senior Manager, or commensurate experience required. Undergraduate degree preferred.
