Job Title: Fire Sprinkler Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Supervisor to join our team at Sobieski Life Safety. As a Fire Sprinkler Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities of assigned craft workers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate field activities of assigned craft workers. Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all workers are properly trained.
* Establish and monitor job requirements to determine field labor, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
* Conduct site-specific safety orientation for employees and subcontractors.
* Interpret completed systems to determine conformance to specifications.
* Enforce company policies with workers and ensure compliance with company standards.
* Monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of work.
* Maintain weekly labor performance reports for review with the Project Manager/Superintendent.
* Maintain timely completion of all paperwork, including one-week and five-week look-ahead schedules, timesheets, daily orders, tool requests, and delivery/packing slips.
* Maintain jobsite security, including locking up equipment, tools, gang boxes, and doors/windows.
* Maintain a clean and organized job site appearance.
* Ensure all gang boxes and job containers are neat and orderly.
* Ensure tools are in good working order.
* Maintain as-built sketches on project drawings.
* Prepare final take-off of material.
* Schedule any shutdowns and tie-ins to existing systems.
* Build rapport and productive working relationships with customers, managers, supervisors, and workers to influence decisions for purchasing, scheduling, installations, and work completion.
* Analyze and resolve work problems.
* Report progress, estimate deviations, and customer complaints to the immediate Project Manager.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

* At least 8 years' verifiable Fire Sprinkler Fitter experience.
* Demonstrated ability to accurately determine job priorities by scheduling personnel and materials with Superintendent.
* Work within local and state codes with precise limits or standards of accuracy.
* OSHA 30 Certified.
* Must have a clean driving record, be able to pass a drug screen, and pass a background check.
* Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite, file management, Internet). Experience using an iPad.
* Journeyman Fire Sprinkler License or equivalent training.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Foreman on Commercial Sites.
* NICET Level 2 or 3 certification.
* Fire Pump Certification.
* Backflow Certification.

* Excellent communication skills required for both the customer and the team contact.
* Self-starter and self-motivated.
* Ability to train helpers and fitters.
* Able to multi-task and prioritize work.
* Extremely detail-oriented.
