Job Summary

Holland Partner Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team at True North in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the physical condition of the property is maintained according to company operating and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance and repair tasks, prioritizing and organizing service requests and general maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise and assist Maintenance Technicians and outside contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a proper inventory of supplies and tools, purchasing as required using standard purchase order systems and proper bidding procedures.
  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to minimize emergency repairs and service requests.
  • Adhere to company safety programs, policies, and procedures, maintaining a hazard communications program and promoting safe work practices among on-site staff.
  • Participate in company training classes and assist with departmental personnel management functions, budgeting, and reforecasting as required.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with Administrative and Maintenance staff, ensuring excellent inside customer service, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Confidentially maintain sensitive documents and information regarding Resident's personal information and company confidential data.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two to three years of experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or related trade.
  • Knowledge of major appliances, HVAC, basic to intermediate plumbing, basic to intermediate electrical, sheet rock, general carpentry, pool care, pest control, gutters, painting, and roofing.
  • Strong customer service orientation, ability to work any day of the week, 52 weeks a year, and serve on-call as scheduled or necessary.
