The position includes protected time for administrative and academic responsibilities including research and teaching. As a senior leadership and academic role in the Department of Psychiatry, you will be responsible for integrating research into systems-wide clinical services and directing CHA-wide groups of clinical services for patients with neurodevelopmental disorders.

We are seeking a full-time child/adolescent psychiatrist to serve as the Director of our new Neurodevelopmental Disorders Program. The successful candidate will be an innovative, strategic leader with a national and/or international reputation in neurodevelopmental disorders.

This person will lead the expansion of neurodevelopmental inpatient units at our Center of Excellence for Child & Adolescent Inpatient Mental Health Care at CHA Somerville Hospital. Additionally, they will oversee a transformative outpatient continuum of patient- and family-centered care for diverse youth with mental health needs.

Ideal applicants should have a demonstrated track record of research, teaching, and publications. A Harvard Medical School appointment will be commensurate with HMS appointment criteria and candidate qualifications.

Candidates must have or be eligible for a MA license, relevant experience in a leadership role, and be BC/BE in child/adolescent psychiatry. Women, minorities, and candidates of diverse cultural background are encouraged to apply.
