Key Responsibilities- Collect and record patient data, medical history, and vital signs
- Prepare patients for treatment procedures and assist healthcare providers as needed
- Perform routine non-invasive treatment procedures, such as phlebotomy and EKGs
- Administer medication and document clinical findings
- Enter data into computer systems and verify accuracy
- Provide basic cashiering duties and collect monies for various activities
- Maintain a sanitary work area and report equipment problems
- Provide quality customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Program Graduate or 2 years of experience in a related field
- Completion of UNMH MA Safe Med Admin Course within 90 days
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification
- Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
- May be required to travel to various work sites
- Limited access to medical rooms
