Director of Facilities

The Director of Facilities will play a pivotal role in managing facilities, grounds, and biomedical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage testing, repairs, and preventative maintenance of clinical equipment, physical plant equipment, and hospital facilities.
  • Maintain departmental budgets and ensure effective financial management.
  • Schedule and lead Emergency Operations Committee (EOC) meetings to ensure preparedness and response to emergencies.
  • Order necessary equipment to support facility management operations.
  • Assist with occasional construction projects and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or 5 years of experience in facilities management operations.
  • Ability to type and perform computer data entry.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Experience:
  • 5 years of experience with electric controls.
  • Experience with building construction and ability to read blueprints.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, boilers, powered generators, water softener systems, medical gas systems, and clinical devices.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Valid Driver's License.
