Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle health assessments, identifying components that may need replacement
  • Inspect and replenish fluid levels as required
  • Complete digital vehicle inspections for submission to management
  • Perform tasks outlined in repair orders efficiently and in line with dealership standards
  • Evaluate vehicles for safety and maintenance requirements, such as worn brakes or tires
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to test components and systems
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Provide estimates for additional repair time as needed
  • Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an automotive technician
  • Solid understanding of the service repair order process
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficient in using computers and modern digital inspection tools
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
  • Eager to learn new technologies, repair procedures, and specifications
  • Capable of operating electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks
