Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to join our team at Rods Service Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across various fields, including industrial mechanics and residential and commercial building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company-owned vehicles, generators, and welders
  • Service and repair construction equipment, including engine systems
  • Conduct residential and commercial building maintenance tasks, including painting, cleaning, plumbing, and appliance repair
  • Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing grass, cutting weeds, and cleaning up trash
  • Assist with air conditioning and furnace maintenance and repair, including filter replacement, coil cleaning, and system recharge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair, preferably in an industrial or residential setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and remain on a blind call drug consortium during employment
