Position Summary

DLP Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodial Specialist to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and emptying trash receptacles.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, including floors, fixtures (toilets, sinks, mirrors), partitions, and counters. Disinfect surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Replenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Clean windows and glass surfaces throughout the facility.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning equipment and supplies responsibly.
  • Be flexible and willing to work overtime or weekends as needed to meet operational demands.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Working Conditions

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors. You will be required to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 55 pounds. The work environment may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and noise.
