ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Head of Human Resources will oversee HR functions for two prominent operating entities with significant global brand presence. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive strategy focused on all aspects of the employee experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead Talent Acquisition, Employee Retention & Engagement, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Employee Relations, and Compliance.
  • Execute a Global Strategy while customizing programs to meet the specific needs of local markets and departments.
  • Drive accountability through goal-setting and foster open, respectful communication between management and staff.
  • Engage effectively with employees, providing guidance while balancing their needs with organizational objectives.
  • Navigate conflicts and inspire high performance, delivering difficult messages with a focus on positive outcomes.
  • Act as both a strategic leader and hands-on contributor, balancing tactical execution with long-term planning.
  • Exhibit a genuine interest in employee well-being and development.
  • Demonstrate confidence and humility in leadership.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with Global Center of Excellence Teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal, State, and local employment laws.
  • Facilitate employee initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HR roles, including at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proficient in HR systems, with experience in Workday being advantageous.
  • Exceptional consultation and coaching skills for both staff and management.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in technology, particularly Google Suite, Excel, and HRIS.
  • Ability to align People initiatives with business objectives to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Proven track record as a valuable contributor to senior management teams.
  • Skilled in delivering training and managing critical projects effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust through active listening and approachability.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY:

Must possess the ability to read, comprehend, and articulate documents in English, with effective verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands of this role require the ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead, lift up to 20 pounds, and communicate effectively. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
