Job Title: Body Shop Repair Estimator
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Repair Estimator to join our team at Everest Recruiting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate estimates for repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.
Duties:
- Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare detailed estimates using auto estimating software.
- Communicate with customers regarding repair options, timelines, and costs.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate assessments of repairs.
- Handle cash transactions and manage payments efficiently.
- Maintain records of estimates and repairs for billing purposes.
- Provide guidance on vehicle maintenance and repair services.
- Assist in sales efforts by promoting additional services offered by the shop.
- Stay updated on industry trends, dealership practices, and new technologies in automotive service.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in auto estimating.
- 2 years of experience in a body shop.
- Driver's License.
