Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement orientation programs for new staff members
  • Design and deliver continuing education programs for individuals and groups within the nursing organization
  • Collaborate with preceptors to develop educational activities that meet the needs of the nursing organization
  • Represent the Clinical Center for Learning and Development at organizational committee meetings
  • Interpret laws, policies, and operational procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures, standards of care, and practice
  • Ensure efficient and effective service provision within regulatory and professional standards
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or Education with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing, or a Master's degree in an allied health field from an accredited institution
  • Experience in Clinical Social Work or Nursing with experience in Case Management, Utilization Review, and Discharge Planning
  • BLS Certification
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in a nursing or allied health specialty
  • Ability to create collegial and collaborative relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to read and analyze documents
  • Ability to listen well, engage in interactive dialogues with others, and facilitate communication among groups
  • Effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills, problem-solving, program development, computer skills, strong leadership, and team-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pediatric nursing experience
