Job Summary

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and directing treatment for patients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and other related pathologies.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients to determine the need for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans to achieve specific goals.
  • Administer and supervise physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based research.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration required.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week with occasional late or early shifts to accommodate patients.
  • CPR certification required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift patients using appropriate biomechanical techniques frequently throughout the workday/shift.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a workday/shift.
  • Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to evaluate, diagnose, and monitor patient needs and to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
