**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Accounting Manager to join our team at StartOps. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory accounting, including reporting, analysis, and valuation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including valuation and reservation in accordance with US GAAP.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership and Category Managers to provide costing information for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries for inventory and COGS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of inventory and COGS data.
- Utilize expertise in cost analysis and ERP systems to support manufacturing operations and drive business growth.
- Provide exceptional project management and presentation skills to communicate complex financial data to stakeholders.
**Requirements**
- 5 years of experience in cost analysis in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably in the apparel industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong background in cost systems and exceptional project management and presentation skills.
- Experience in implementing ERP systems to support manufacturing operations.
