ProMedica is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Safety Professional to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and employees at our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol and Security: Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises to prevent and detect crime, and to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on site.
- Law Enforcement: Enforce laws and regulations, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and employees, and respond to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate and detailed reports of incidents, accidents, and other security-related events.
- Training and Certification: Complete all required training and certification programs, and maintain current knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures related to law enforcement and security.
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent required; completion of Basic Peace Officers Academy as prescribed by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Council is required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Certifications: Ohio Peace Officer's Basic Training Certification required.
