Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Module Design and Development Test Lead to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department, you will be responsible for leading the test of RF/microwave modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) products.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough testing on multi-channel RF modules to characterize both receive and transmit behavior.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot rackmount test stations and LabVIEW test scripts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with RF module design and assembly teams to ensure seamless integration and testing.
  • Qualifications
    • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in RF/Microwave modules.
    • Experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs).
    • Experience with RF testing, LabVIEW scripting, and data analysis.
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
    • Preferred Qualifications
      • A Master's degree or PhD in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field.
      • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
      • Experience in a production environment.
      • Strong academic background that includes courses in: Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory, and Radar Systems.
      • Experience with analytical tools such as Matlab, Python, or JMP.
      • Current DoD Secret level security clearance.
      • Experience with GaAs and/or GaN MMIC devices.
