Role Overview:

The Product & Engineering division at DMG is assembling a cohesive, high-performing team of solution-oriented professionals dedicated to facilitating the digital transformation of facility maintenance services. We are in search of a distinguished Senior Technical Program Manager to consult, strategize, and oversee critical business initiatives across the Product & Engineering sector.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to guide product teams involved in the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and delivery of software solutions. Your responsibilities will include program planning, risk identification and mitigation, schedule management, and effective communication with stakeholders. Success in this position requires a data-driven mindset coupled with a robust technical skill set to enhance and elevate the methodologies and best practices of technical program management within the P&E organization. A comprehensive understanding of software engineering, product engineering, and program management principles and tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with product engineering teams and leadership to define, scope, and guide feature execution.
  • Utilize data to inform technical decision-making and prioritize initiatives.
  • Demonstrate excellence in articulating the vision for and executing large-scale projects that have significant business impact.
  • Develop streamlined, well-structured programs that account for the architecture and systems of the domain while minimizing complexity over time.
  • Oversee the planning of long-term, multi-phase programs, considering all facets of development, release, and maintenance.
  • Deeply understand cross-functional dependencies and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
  • Make informed decisions to reprioritize or adjust projects based on new insights.
  • Execute large-scale programs to a high standard of quality, often under tight deadlines with considerable implications for failure.
  • Dedicate time to mentor and coach team members, particularly those aspiring to advance into senior technical program management roles.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management or a relevant scientific or engineering degree.
  • Experience managing or possessing a thorough understanding of an organization's Incident Management Process.
  • Demonstrated depth in a specific technology or product domain.
  • Proven track record of developing innovative project management methodologies that deliver business value and drive organizational change.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with development methodologies, applying them appropriately for each project.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical architectural design, systems, and supporting tools.
  • Ability to act independently and swiftly to align cross-functional teams on critical projects.
  • Exhibit high standards of technical judgment, innovation, and execution to address complex problems requiring prioritization.
  • Experience in recruiting technical talent and building effective TPM teams.
  • Preferred proficiency with industry-standard source code management tools, observability and monitoring tools, project planning tools, and roadmap planning tools.
  • Required certifications: AWS, Google, or Azure cloud administrator certification.
  • Required certifications: PMP, Advanced CSM, or CPO certification.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to meet the in-person requirements of the team and business needs.
