Lead Nurse - Mental Health Unit

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Lead Nurse position within our Adult Mental Health Unit. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality nursing care and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising nursing operations to guarantee safe and effective patient care
  • Managing staffing assignments and engaging in regular patient assessments
  • Evaluating daily clinical situations and implementing appropriate interventions
  • Assigning duties to nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses
  • Ensuring compliance with professional nursing standards and practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Florida
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related discipline
  • At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role is essential
  • Specialty certifications such as ACLS or PALS are preferred
  • Familiarity with the Meditech system is advantageous
