Job Summary

Geisinger Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Janet Weis Children's Hospital. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pediatric unit.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments, and performing diagnostic studies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Participate in unit-based decision-making and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
  • Precept and mentor new staff members and students in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements
  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program-Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support Certification and Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
