- Lead a team of nursing personnel, delegating care tasks based on their qualifications and roles.
- Contribute to the mission and objectives of the healthcare facility, enhancing community health outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Unit Specialization:

The Medical/Surgical Unit caters to a diverse range of patients, including:

  • Post-operative orthopedic patients, including total knee, hip, and shoulder replacements.
  • Patients with generalized fractures and tendon/ligament repairs.
  • Individuals recovering from back and neck surgeries, urological procedures, ENT surgeries, and hernia repairs.
  • Medical overflow patients requiring additional care.
Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • BSN or ADN degree from an accredited nursing program.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Current nursing license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification to be obtained within one month of hire.
Work Schedule:
0.75 FTE
Shift Details:
Day/Night Rotation
Compensation:
$57.72 per hour

The compensation range is indicative and will be determined based on various factors including experience, skills, and internal equity.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements:
Every third weekend and holiday shifts are expected.
