Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operations Lead, you will:

  • Assist the supervisor in maintaining efficient departmental operations.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, and other warehouse processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage the shipment and receipt of goods, verifying counts and quality, and processing necessary paperwork.
  • Inspect freight prior to departure and document any damage.
  • Perform supervisory duties as required and operate machinery or assist in other departments as needed.
  • Support safety, housekeeping, and employee performance initiatives.
Environmental and Safety Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Adhere to all company environmental policies and procedures to minimize impact.
  • Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
  • Consult with safety representatives regarding safe practices and support safety committee activities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Report any violations of environmental and safety policies to management.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to read, accurately count, perform basic math, and write clearly.
  • Strong skills in following written and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent work habits and familiarity with warehouse operating systems.
  • The capacity to manage stress and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • A collaborative attitude and a solid attendance record.
