Controller Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee and manage a Shared Service Accounting Department. This role offers a competitive salary of $175K - $200K+, a 15% bonus, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all Shared Services Accounting functions, overseeing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements for multiple entities across various states.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and experience with U.S. GAAP, consolidations, cash management, and general ledger.
  • Coordinate and manage the month-end close process and prepare internal financial statements for multiple business entities.
  • Oversee cash flow and intercompany transactions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for external audit accounting components.
  • Develop and implement efficient and holistic accounting practices to enhance the department's functionality.
  • Communicate and clarify accounting issues to leadership, management, and staff.
  • Integrate and optimize accounting systems.
  • Direct 4 GL Managers, each responsible for overseeing several accounting staff members.
  • Hire, train, develop, and retain skilled accounting personnel.
  • Support other accounting-related projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • 10 Years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with hands-on experience.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with leadership, management, and staff.
