Job Overview

The Director of Architectural Systems and Sales will drive revenue growth by educating and qualifying potential projects for our building enclosure systems and total precast solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish confidence in the marketplace by promoting our value proposition of quality, service, technology, design assist, and financial capabilities.
  • Initiate sales processes by scheduling appointments, making presentations, and understanding design requirements.
  • Collaborate with plant operations staff and attend weekly meetings at the plant when available.
  • Market our building enclosure systems and total precast capabilities to expand sales in the design community.
  • Closely work with estimating staff during the estimating and bidding process to close sales.
  • Provide engineering support and training to estimating and other sales staff on structural precast projects.
  • Pursue all opportunities within the region and network through construction-oriented educational opportunities and PCI regional organizations.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills to engage with customers at all levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, training, and education.
  • Precast/sales experience is preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with customers.
  • Action-oriented with a sense of urgency and prioritization of workload.
  • High sales aptitude, self-motivation, and proven sales skills and techniques.
  • Familiarity with PCI and ACI design requirements to converse effectively with designers, estimators, and project leadership.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel overnight and possess a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Travel to meet with clients or potential clients is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 15lbs at times.
