About the Role

Constellation Energy is seeking a skilled Nuclear Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in support of performing engineering problem-solving activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare nuclear safety analyses and engineering evaluations independently and support Configuration management programs.
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations.
  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable procedures, safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Support engineering work functions.
  • Participate in the implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established programs, policies, and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of nuclear or related industry experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear safety analyses and engineering evaluations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as nuclear engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with predictive analysis using technologies such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, ultrasound analysis, motor PdM, engine PdM analysis, and valve PdM analysis.
  • Knowledge of HVAC components, including heat exchangers, ventilation, fans, and chillers.
