Position Overview:
The Assistant Controller supports the Controller in managing all financial activities of the company. This includes implementing effective financial controls and procedures, preparing accurate financial reports and analyses, and offering financial advice to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial areas such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll for Remington Hotels.
- Implement and monitor financial controls to maximize profits and safeguard assets.
- Ensure corporate financial policies are followed and deviations are reported.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and budgets for senior management.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management staff.
- Interview, hire, train, and evaluate personnel in the finance department.
- Participate in financial meetings and payroll preparation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounting or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong work ethic and computer skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Regular attendance and ability to meet deadlines.
- Must have basic computational ability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
