Position Overview:
DIRECTV is in search of a Principal of Advanced Analytics to effectively collect, assess, and interpret a diverse range of operational and customer data. This role is crucial in identifying significant drivers, correlations, and insights that will enhance the Contact Centers division. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to amalgamate various datasets to deliver comprehensive data analytics and reporting on agent performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in projects that may encompass agent activity assessments, customer behavior segmentation, evaluations of agent performance, and analyses of customer experience, all aimed at providing actionable insights to management.
- Independently create reports, charts, tables, and visualizations that support analytical findings and effectively communicate necessary actions to leadership and business stakeholders.
- Establish, monitor, and elucidate critical operational health metrics by gathering data from multiple systems and synthesizing it into valuable insights.
- Independently narrate trends and performance metrics related to customers, gross additions, and churn.
- Integrate multiple data sources, determine optimal approaches and variables, and conduct root cause analysis through both analytical and business acumen.
- Advise business partners on patterns and relationships within data to guide business strategies and outcomes.
- Provide mentorship to Senior Analysts on the team, offering support in one-on-one settings and during team discussions.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to leadership to drive strategic actions and organizational change.
Qualifications for Success:
- A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related quantitative discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Typically requires several years of relevant experience in advanced analytics, big data, relational database frameworks, research methodologies, sampling techniques, and system evaluations.
- Recognized as an authority in Advanced Analytics.
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of simplifying complex information for diverse audiences.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Teradata, SnowFlake, Databricks, PowerBI, and Tableau.
- Outstanding organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
Travel Requirements:
This position may require approximately 10% travel.

Compensation Structure:
DIRECTV offers a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, ensuring market competitiveness.
Salary Range:
The base salary range for this position is $127,965 - $232,415, depending on the labor market zone and individual qualifications.
