Key Responsibilities
  • Process and submit monthly accounts receivable invoices.
  • Maintain and process monthly invoice payment reconciliations.
  • Maintain and record prepaid expenses.
  • Track and record fixed assets.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including adjusting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review and process expense reports in accordance with Evans Incorporated's policies, FTR/JTR, and FAR, when applicable.
  • Assist with monthly corporate card and travel reconciliations.
  • Assist with annual 1099 filing.
  • Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • Government contract accounting experience and a working knowledge of FAR/CAS is a plus.
  • Knowledge of general accounting theories, principles, and practices, with a solid understanding of general budgeting principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of Unanet.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
  • Precise, detail-oriented, and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Corporate Admin, Human Resources, Contracts, Senior Manager teams, and Program Management Organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, active listening, self-starter attitude, self-awareness, and integrity.
