Job Summary

The Territory Optimization Analyst at Herc Rentals will play a pivotal role in aligning the company's sales and operational plans with customer demand. This position will be instrumental in driving the growth of the national sales strategy by creating optimized sales territories that promote measurable value against company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage data-driven models to ensure market alignment and optimize sales territories
  • Collaborate with national and regional sales teams to improve sales territory planning processes and drive growth
  • Facilitate meetings with sales teams to ensure local market opportunities are optimized to growth expectations
  • Utilize project management skills to research, plan, and execute strategies to empower sales teams to grow and scale their business
  • Work with regional sales teams to determine employment progression and opportunities
  • Manage territory assignments and realignments to maximize opportunity across the US and CA
  • Work with internal business units to implement strategies and tactics developed to meet revenue/opportunity goals
  • Identify opportunities by creating strategies using various analytic tools and data
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks in the territory management process and implement strategies to improve efficiency
  • Manage key KPIs and KPOs through dashboards, reporting, and project plans
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience in a related field
  • Master's degree in a Business discipline
  • Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, work under pressure, and meet deadline requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in BI tools, mapping, and optimization software or similar software
