About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and therapeutic treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all established nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and therapeutic treatments.
  • Conduct required calibration and quality checks, noting results in appropriate logs, while practicing radiation safety and observing universal precautions at all times.
  • Manipulate raw data and review studies for correct positioning and overall quality.
  • Participate in on-call duties and/or work variable shifts to meet department needs.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Certification by CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine licensure.
  • Ability to perform Nuclear Medicine procedures following accepted standards and protocols.
