About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality radiographs, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures, including proper positioning and image technique, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting exposure factors.
  • Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.
Requirements
  • One year of experience in a Rad Tech role is preferred, but exceptions can be made for new graduates who excelled academically and showcased excellent technical skills during clinicals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
