Independent Security Systems Installer

Position: Security Systems Installation Technician
Compensation: $28 - $31 per hour
Employment Type: 1099 (applicants must possess their own LLC)
Travel Requirements: 100% on-call travel (all expenses covered)
Essential Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of relevant education or experience in a technical field
- Basic proficiency in computer applications including MS Office (Outlook and Excel), Adobe, Vizio, TeamViewer, and TerraTerm
- Fundamental understanding of electrical concepts and circuitry
- Experience with low voltage cable and wire pulling, including CAT6
- Knowledge of conduit cutting, bending, and installation techniques
- Ability to mount devices on various surfaces such as drywall, concrete, and metal
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- High Lift Safety Certification
- Ladder Safety Training
- OSHA-10 Safety Certification
This role is pivotal in delivering installation services for electronic security systems. The technician will ensure that all tasks are executed in compliance with company standards, contractual obligations, and relevant regulations, while striving to meet corporate objectives related to revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position necessitates 100% travel within and outside the designated region. The ideal candidate should possess a strong desire to learn about the installation and maintenance of various technologies, systems, and devices associated with electronic security.
Key Duties Include:- Conducting material inventory
- Cutting, bending, and installing conduit
- Entering data into various documentation and systems
- Installing low voltage cabling and wiring
- Mounting electronic security devices on diverse surfaces
- Providing updates and information to both internal and external stakeholders
- Performing additional tasks as assigned
