The primary role of this position is to support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing, directing, and executing all operational and facility-related activities.

  • Manage the upkeep and repair of building systems to ensure superior employee comfort, safety, and productivity.
  • Evaluate existing assets to identify and address systemic performance issues.
  • Inspect construction and installation processes.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects with staff.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure timely completion of all required training.
  • Supervise and train maintenance personnel, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling preventative maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required, with relevant experience. An associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and electrical work, with a preference for experience in the PLC and food manufacturing sectors.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing a maintenance team within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to unify a maintenance team, develop technicians at all levels, and work collaboratively within a diverse workforce.
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated sense of job ownership and accountability, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Proficient computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe practices.
  • Commitment to performing responsibilities safely.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
