Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at the bar and in the restaurant.
  2. Skillfully mix craft cocktails according to established recipes and procedures.
  3. Provide detailed explanations of food and beverage menu items, making recommendations based on guest preferences.
  4. Collaborate effectively with fellow Bartenders, Servers, and support staff to ensure that service standards are consistently met.
  5. Ensure the safety of all bar patrons by verifying age for alcohol consumption and recognizing limits of alcohol intake.
  6. Create memorable experiences to encourage repeat visits and inform guests about other offerings within the Schulson Collective.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

The role may require occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling items up to 75 pounds. The employee will spend a significant portion of the day standing or walking.

Qualifications

  1. RAMP Certification is mandatory.
  2. A minimum of one to two years of experience in high-volume, fine-casual, or fine-dining settings is required.
  3. A passion for craft cocktails and a solid understanding of flavor pairings is essential.
  4. Strong knowledge of current industry trends, including classic cocktails, wine, and beer.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  6. A team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic is essential.
  7. Exceptional hospitality and guest relations skills are required.
  8. Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems is preferred.
