Rehabilitation Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rehab Therapist Assistant to join our team at UW Health. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment to ensure a safe and dignified experience.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, activities, and ambulation, as directed by the patient's therapist.
- Schedule patients, maintain accurate attendance records, and complete patient charge procedures.
- Establish strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Participate in team education and growth initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: Prior healthcare experience and one year of healthcare experience.
- CPR Certification required.
