We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at ECHN. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic environment, providing top-notch patient care and support.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will report to the Manager, Corp Care and be responsible for direct patient care, medical screening, and various procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be knowledgeable of Windows-based software programs, and have access to reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Takes and documents vital signs, records vision screenings, and notes other required procedures according to policy.
  • Completes initial patient assessment for all injuries according to standards as evidenced by chart review.
  • Completes discharge process by instructing patient in work restrictions, medication directions, and side effects, and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Collects phlebotomy specimens as requested, demonstrating proficiency in all phlebotomy techniques.
  • Performs ancillary medical testing (pulmonary function, EKG, audiograms, vision screening, respirator fit testing) according to department procedures.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
  • At least one year of medical office experience is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledgeable of Windows-based software programs such as Word and Outlook.

Estimated Salary

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
