Compensation for PRN roles differs from that of Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN rates are determined by the specific role and other factors, including experience and shift commitments, in accordance with departmental policies.
Key Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The role involves delivering pharmaceutical services that support all outpatient functions. Responsibilities include managing prescription processing, providing patient consultations, overseeing pharmacy technicians, maintaining records, handling billing and prior authorizations, communicating with physicians, and utilizing computer systems for record management. All duties must align with the organizational standards and regulatory requirements of CMHS.
Qualifications Required
Essential:
- Active California Pharmacist License.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outpatient pharmacy setting.
Desirable:
- Master's degree (M.A.) or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm D).
