Pharmacy Director

Community Memorial Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our inpatient pharmacy team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the management of inpatient staff, including clinical pharmacists, staff pharmacists, technicians, and clerks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory boards, BOP, FDA, DEA, DNV pharmacy regulations, and best practices.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care and safety.
- Provide oversight of diversion prevention and manage the Diversion Specialist.
- Lead clinical staff development, including pharmacy residency programs and ambulatory pharmacy services.
- Oversee pharmacy intern programs through affiliations with universities and schools of pharmacy.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce medication errors.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's Degree in Pharmacy or related field.
- Current CA Pharmacist License.
- Five (5) years of pharmacy experience, including two (2) years of managerial experience.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to senior management and multiple customer levels.
