Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our inpatient pharmacy team at Community Memorial Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the inpatient pharmacy team, including clinical pharmacists, staff pharmacists, technicians, and clerks.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including BOP, FDA, DEA, and DNV pharmacy regulations.
  • Oversee the management of pharmacy operations, including inventory management, supply chain management, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services with other healthcare services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce medication errors, and enhance patient safety.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Develop and manage the pharmacy budget, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensure and governing body requirements for all pharmacy locations.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or related field.
  • Current CA Pharmacist License.
  • Five (5) years of pharmacy experience, including two (2) years of managerial experience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts to senior management and multiple customer levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PharmD degree.
  • Chemotherapy Infusion experience.
  • Epic experience.
