Your Opportunity + Impact

The Associate Project Manager plays a critical role in assisting senior management with the management of projects, including design, communications, personnel management, budgets, schedules, quality control, business development, and client communication & relationships.

This position requires a strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to work independently and as part of a project team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist senior management with overall project management, including preparing technical & price proposals, amendments, statements of interests, schedules, QA/QC, and overseeing sub-consultants.
  2. Review and interpret local, state, and federal regulations to determine project constraints.
  3. Develop a network of professional contacts through involvement in thought leadership, civic, and technical organizations.
  4. Recognize opportunities for new projects and assist senior management with developing leads and business development activities.
  5. Coordinate submittals, RFI's, and other project components.
  6. Direct, mentor, and guide team members and staff; provide performance evaluations and reviews as directed.
  7. Promote, utilize, and support quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a position-relevant Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Strong leadership & interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources.
