Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in a hospice setting. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing personal care services to patients, including ambulation, transferring, and assisting with daily living activities.
Responsibilities- Provides personal care services to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to perform specific techniques of personal and supportive care
- Plans and prepares nutritious meals, assists with feeding, and performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned
- Observes, reports, and documents any changes in patient's status
- Follows specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the plan of care
- Assists patients with prescribed exercises as instructed by nurse or therapist
- Performs and records simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, and albumin
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state certification (or registration) as a nurse assistant as per state certification/registration requirements
- CNA experience within the last two years
- Current CPR certification
