Job Summary:

THIRA Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Bellevue, WA. As a CNA, you will be responsible for attending to patient medical needs and assisting in the maintenance of a safe therapeutic environment. May be assigned to one or more programs.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist THIRA nurse to create, maintain, and track patient health history and medical documentation
Perform skin check on patients with a history of Non-Suicidal Self Injury (NSSI) and inform the team of any observed evidence of recent NSSI
Assist patients with self-administered medication while on-site at program
Administer lab orders and call in prescription refills on behalf of the Chief Medical Officer
Observe and report changes in patient's behaviors, physical symptoms, and mental health status to the clinical team, including licensed nurse and Chief Medical Officer
Conduct vital sign exams on a weekly basis and document quickly and accurately in electronic health record
Support and assist psychotherapists, dietitians, art therapist, and milieu support therapist in creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu environment
Assist with medical supply ordering and track usage of these supplies
Perform job duties while complying with all HIPAA, institutional and health department regulations
Support Mental Health/Diet Technicians responsibilities as needed

Requirements:
WA State CNA licensure in good standing

Preferred Requirements:
Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and the ability to transport patients safely in a facility vehicle
