The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Systems Software Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Enterprise Order Activation team, you will be responsible for ensuring successful activation and orchestration processes for our customers.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and resolve complex software and workflow issues, working closely with development teams to identify and execute system improvements.
  2. Provide technical assistance to users, leveraging your extensive knowledge of software applications, systems, and networks to deliver exceptional support.
  3. Monitor applications for potential problems and proactively correct issues to prevent major disruptions.
  4. Collaborate with IT departments to solve technical problems and maintain optimal system performance.
  5. Document software bugs, glitches, and resolutions, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer and process improvement.
  6. Develop and deliver training programs to end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize software applications and workflows.
  7. Respond to application outages and issues during daytime and evening hours, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.
What We Look For in a Candidate

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in IT application production support. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of IT application production support experience.
  • 3+ years of managing production and maintenance projects.
  • Programming experience in Python and SQL Scripting for creating user-based tools and automations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Desktop applications.
  • Strong application trouble resolution skills and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

BSc degree in Computer Science, IT, or relevant field. Federal Government Clearances (USDA and GSA) are also a plus.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, and compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location-based pay ranges are as follows:

  • $80,510 - $107,340 in AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, SD.
  • $84,740 - $112,980 in AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IN, KS, MO, MT, ND, NM, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY.
  • $88,980 - $118,630 in CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI.
  • $93,210 - $124,280 in AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA.

As with the pay range variety based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
