Job Opportunity at Oak Quarry Golf Club

We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our culinary team at Oak Quarry Golf Club. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, and load them into the dishwashing machine.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, and transport them to the cook line and storage areas.
  • Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour, and wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
  • Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster, and set up or break down the dishwashing area.
  • Sweep and mop floors, and assemble or disassemble the dish machine as needed.
  • Wipe up spills to maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Notify the manager if the dish machine's wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
  • Follow proper handwashing procedures to prevent cross-contamination.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience or training is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and write simple correspondence.
  • Frequent standing and walking, with occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to develop awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Active Riverside County Food Handlers Card is required.
