Job Opportunity at Oak Quarry Golf Club

We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our culinary team at Oak Quarry Golf Club. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in our food preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, and load them into the dishwashing machine.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, and transport them to the cook line and storage areas.
  • Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour, and wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
  • Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster, and set up or break down the dishwashing area.
  • Clean and roll/unroll mats, and fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions.
  • Sweep/mop floors, and assemble/disassemble the dish machine.
  • Sweep up trash around the garbage dumpster, and wipe up spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
  • Notify the manager if the dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.
  • Follow proper hygiene procedures, and perform other duties as directed.
Requirements:
  • No prior experience or training is required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and write simple correspondence.
  • Frequently stand and walk, talk and hear, and regularly use hands to finger, feel, or handle.
  • Reliable and predictable attendance, and ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Active Riverside County Food Handlers Card is required.
