Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create innovative and seasonal menus that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Kitchen Setup and Maintenance: Ensure the kitchen is properly set up and maintained to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present food in an appealing and appetizing manner.
  • Team Supervision and Delegation: Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels and restock as necessary to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure all food safety regulations are followed and maintain high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
  • Participation in Kitchen Procedures: Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Certifications: ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is required.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes is essential.
  • Time Management and Physical Demands: Ability to remain calm under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
