Job Title: Senior Product Manager, PowerTrack APM

Stem, a leading provider of clean energy solutions, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of its PowerTrack APM product. As a key member of the product management team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and development of our cutting-edge operations management software solutions for solar, battery energy storage, and hybrid solar+storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for PowerTrack APM, including prioritizing features and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop product requirements that meet those needs.
  • Work with the software development team to ensure timely delivery and a high standard of excellence for products and features.
  • Participate in agile processes and ceremonies within the software development team.
  • Own and prioritize the technical product backlog for PowerTrack APM software offerings.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a performance engineering or technical asset management role optimizing operational performance of renewable energy assets.
  • 8+ years' experience working as a product manager or collaborating with software development teams, especially in workflow-driven, data-intensive applications.
  • Electric power industry domain experience with demonstrated understanding of renewable energy asset performance modeling, benchmarking, and optimization during operations.
  • Familiarity with PVsyst, PVlib, SolarFarmer, ASTM 2848, and/or other PV performance models.
  • Familiarity with weather-resource assessment, performance loss models to identify soiling and shading, and performance benchmarks such as capacity testing, KPIs, and availability calculations.
